Let’s Get This Party Started Right (class code: 4WK_OC_REEL)
A 4-week, 12 hour on-camera class in which students engage in the study and performance of scene/dialogue and solo/monologue work in front of the camera. Work will be done in front of a single camera and simultaneously viewed by classmates through a monitor to explore medium and close-up camera techniques. Each student will walk away from the course with a thumb drive of their top-notch performance in both a monologue and a scene from film, TV, theater, or their own material. The footage will be polished and fully edited for students to post to a website and to upload onto facebook, YouTube, and various casting sites. The course also includes a casual end-of-class party in the conference room for viewing final and edited footage and a groovy, one-on-one-coffee meeting with Jen to discuss and strategize their personal, on-camera careers.

A 4-week, 12 hour on-camera class in which students study a different on-camera genre each week: film, sit-com, prime-time, soap and commercial. We’ll also have a footage-watching party, so there!

Hum…I’ve Always Wanted To Know What It Felt Like To Fly Over A Cuckoo’s Nest…(class code: 4WK_CD_NR)
A 4-week, 12 hour class in which students engage in an in-depth study of character development for the stage and screen. Class will include exercises in characterization, improvisation, technique, and performance of characters. And yeah, we’ll have a party to watch it all!
